Depop

After a conversation with a family member about their fashion ecommerce business, they asked me if I would ever be interested in working for them, shooting for their website and social medias. Working within fashion and social marketing is something that I have an interest in as a career, yet it’s not something I feel confident in or have much experience for.

From this conversation I decided that for me to see if that career is truly for me, I need to gain experience to be able to gain confidence in my work.

So, knowing I have bags of clothes that I don’t wear, I challenged myself to photograph them and put them up for sale on my personal Depop. I established a style to draw attention to my shop and drive sales.

Although I feel that I need to put a lot more time and effort into this style of photography before I would say that I could do it as a job, I feel that it is definitely a route I am interested in exploring.
